FedEx shipping information
The severe weather system that brought hazardous conditions across the northeast is still leaving difficult conditions and continues to affect FedEx operations. Unavoidable service delays should be expected due to local road conditions in the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia. FedEx is committed to providing service to the best of our ability in areas that can be safely accessed and where conditions have improved. We will continue to monitor the situation to minimize the impact on service. Please continue to check fedex.com for updates.
Shipping to affected areas?
To help avoid delays, we encourage you to contact your recipients to verify whether their location is open or able to receive deliveries. In the event of evacuations, shipments not delivered before Superstorm Sandy will be secured in one of our facilities. Delivery will be attempted when it is safe to do so.
Continue to check fedex.com for service updates. For specific shipment status information, please track your shipment at fedex.com. You can also contact FedEx Customer Service at 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 or stay up to date by subscribing to FedEx Service Alert e-mail notifications at the FedEx E-Mail Subscription Center. Consistent with the provisions of the FedEx Service Guide, shipments delayed due to Superstorm Sandy are not eligible for a refund or credit under the money-back guarantee policy.
